DotGuard Privacy Policy

Personal information provided (name, email, address and phone) are stored by DotGuard for the sole purpose of asset identification by law enforcement in the event of loss or theft.

A customer's personal information or details of any arrangement with DotGuard will not be disclosed to any other person or organization without the express consent of the customer or unless required by law. All information will be held in the strictest of confidence.

DotGuard is committed to maintaining the accuracy of the information on all of our customers. A customer may facilitate access to their registered information either over the phone or by paper statements. If you believe any of your information is incorrect or has changed please notify us immediately via phone or email to update your customer information. However, in order to protect your information we may ask you to verify your identity. Note, in the event that you suspect that someone has illegally or fraudulently gained access to your personal details then please contact DotGuard immediately so that an identity alert may be placed on your file for your protection.

During the registration phase a customer will have the opportunity to elect to receive information about new DotGuard products and updates. Only those selecting this option will be provided this information and a customer may remove themselves or 'opt out' from this list at any time by emailing info@dot-guard.com or calling 1877-5368-4273.

No more that four marketing pieces will be sent per annum by either email or direct mail to those identified on this list. This list will not be made available to any third party and will remain in strictest of confidence.

Customers will be immediately notified via mail or email with any material changes to the DotGuard privacy policy. At the time of notification, customers may choose to remove personal information due to the privacy policy changes.
